How Do I Logon to an Online Course?

When you register for an online course, you can access the course on the first day of classes using the following instructions.

Go to the Enter Your Course section in the navigation area on the left.

Click on either the text link Enter Your Online Course or the Enter button. Once you have clicked on it, a new page will appear that will require you to enter your username and password.

Your username will be entered as follows:

Type the letter "s" (this stands for student)

Type your entire first name

Type your last name

For example, if your name is Jane Doe, your username would be sjanedoe. Note that your username is all one word (no spaces), and all lowercase.

Once you have entered your username, you will then need to enter your password. Your password is your nine digit student ID number.

If you do not know your student ID number, you can click on the "What's my student ID number?" link on the left. On that page you will find instructions on how to get your student ID number.

Finally, either press the Enter key or click on the "Log in" button.

Once you successfully logon to WebCT, you will be brought to your WebCT account home page. The home page has your name on it and also any online courses you have registered for. 

To get into a course, just click on the course name.
